The 2025/2026 Matriculation Ceremony for newly admitted candidates at Nasarawa State University has been scheduled to take place on Friday, 27th February, 2026, at 9:00 am. The event will be held at the Convocation Square, Main Campus.

Matriculating candidates are required to note the following details: Collection of matriculation gowns will commence on Tuesday, 24th February, 2026, at the offices of their respective Faculty Officers, free of charge. The gowns must be returned immediately after the ceremony.

All matriculating students are expected to assemble outside the Convocation Square by 8:00 am sharp for the procession. They will line up behind their respective Faculty Officers in alphabetical order, as follows: Faculty of Administration, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Environmental Science, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, and Faculty of Social Sciences.

Note that the Faculty of Agriculture and Engineering will observe their matriculation ceremony at their respective campuses. For the Faculty of Engineering, students are to be seated by 9:00 am, while the Faculty of Agriculture, Lafia, are to be seated by 11:00 am.

It is essential to return the matriculation gowns to the Faculty Officers within 24 hours after the matriculation exercise. Failure to do so will attract a fine and/or penalty.
