The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced the sales of registration E-PINS for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). To initiate the registration process, candidates are required to present their previously generated PROFILE CODE from their phone and make the necessary payment. The cost for UTME ONLY without mock is N7,200, while UTME with mock is N8,700. Upon purchase, the E-PIN will be sent directly to the candidate's registered phone number via SMS.

Candidates can purchase the E-PIN at various locations, including NIPOST, banks, mobile money operators (MMOs), microfinance banks (MFBs), and other participating financial institutions. It is essential to note that the sales of E-PINS will come to a close on 26th February, 2026. Following the acquisition of the e-PIN, candidates can proceed to check the list of approved JAMB CBT registration centres for the 2026 UTME/DE to identify the closest centre to them and prepare for registration, which is scheduled to commence on Monday, 26th January, 2026.

The payment for the e-PIN encompasses several fees, including the UTME/DE JAMB application fee (N3,500), the reading text (N1,000), the CBT centre registration service charge (N700), the CBT centre UTME server charge (N1,500), bank charges (N500), and the optional CBT mock-UTME centre charge (N1,500). Additionally, Direct Entry e-PIN sales are slated to begin on Monday, 2nd March, 2026.
