The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) is set to host its 109th Inaugural Lecture on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at the Prof. Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building. The event is scheduled to start at 2:00 p.m., with guests expected to take their seats by 1:30 p.m.

The Lecture, titled “Combating the Hidden Menace of Metallic Materials: Panacea for Industrial Growth and Environmental Sustainability,” will be delivered by Prof. Olayide Rasaq Adetunji, a renowned expert in Corrosion and Materials Engineering in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering (COLENG).

Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, the Vice-Chancellor, will serve as the Chief Host of the event. The University Community and the general public are cordially invited to attend.
