The Zamfara State Government has extended the application deadline for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) teachers due to network connectivity challenges faced by qualified candidates.

The extension was announced by the Committee for the Recruitment of 2,000 Teachers, following appeals from candidates across various local government areas. The recruitment portal will be reopened for five days, from Monday, 16th February to Friday, 20th February 2026, and will close at 11:59 p.m.

Eligible candidates are required to apply through the official Zamfara State Government Online Recruitment Portal: www.zamfara.gov.ng/recruitment. The recruitment exercise will focus on qualified applicants in technical and vocational subjects such as Technical Drawing, Basic Electricity and Electronics, Woodwork and Furniture Making, Metalwork and Fabrication, Catering and Craft Practice, Bookkeeping and Accounting, ICT / Computer Science, Mathematics / Physics, and Agricultural Science.

The Committee has urged all interested and qualified candidates to take advantage of the extended window and complete their applications within the stipulated period.
