The Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA) Management has officially approved and released the schedule of activities for the upcoming Student Union Government (SUG) elections for the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to an internal memo signed by the Dean of Students’ Affairs, Prof. M. G. Garba, the election process is set to commence in late April and conclude with the inauguration of new executives in early May.

The schedule of events is as follows: April 24th – 26th, 2026: Commencement of the sales of forms and expression of interest by aspiring candidates. April 27th, 2026: Screening of aspirants and official consideration of eligibility. April 28th, 2026: Publication of the list of successful candidates and consideration of any appeal cases. April 29th, 2026: Manifestations and Presidential/Candidate Debates. April 30th, 2026: Election Day and the formal declaration of winners. May 2nd, 2026: Inauguration of the newly elected Executive Council members.

The memo was signed by Prof. M. G. Garba, Dean, Students’ Affairs, and copied to the Vice-Chancellor and Director of Security Services.
