The School of Preliminary and Continuing Education at Sule Lamido University has announced the commencement of online applications for admission into its Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

To be eligible, candidates must fulfill specific O'Level criteria, including a minimum of five credits in the SSCE, obtained in not more than two sittings. Arts students must include English Language, while Science students must include Mathematics. Social and Management Sciences students must include either English Language or Mathematics.

The application period commences on Monday, 1st June 2026, and closes on Monday, 29th June 2026. Prospective applicants are required to follow a seven-step registration procedure, which includes visiting the Sule Lamido University SPACE Application portal, creating a user profile, and uploading their passport photograph.

The registration process also involves selecting a preferred programme option, filling in O'Level results and subject combinations, generating a payment invoice, and remitting the non-refundable IJMBE Screening Fee of Three Thousand Naira (N3,000.00) via REMITA. Candidates must generate and print out their Acknowledgement Slip.

During the physical screening exercise, candidates MUST present both the originals and photocopies of specific documents, including the Acknowledgement Slip, Evidence of Payment, WAEC or SSCE/NECO Statements of Result, two recent passport-sized photographs, Certificate of Indigeneship, and Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age.
