The University Management has taken note of the concerns raised by students regarding the recent announcement to discontinue installment payments for tuition fees, effective from the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
The university appreciates the peaceful manner in which students expressed their concerns and acknowledges the economic challenges many students and their parents/guardians are facing. The institution remains dedicated to ensuring that all eligible students have access to higher education without compromising its financial stability.
Following further discussions with the Governing Council, Management has decided to suspend the implementation of the new policy. As a result, the existing arrangement, which allows tuition fees to be paid in installments of 60% in the First Semester and 40% in the Second Semester, will remain in effect until further notice.
Students are reminded to pay their prescribed fees on time, according to the approved payment schedule. Those with outstanding fees from the 2025/2026 Academic Session are required to settle their balances immediately, and the portal will be opened for them to register.
The University values the understanding and cooperation of all students and encourages them to maintain peace on campus, engage in lawful activities, and focus on their academic pursuits.
The Management remains open to constructive dialogue with all stakeholders to promote the continued growth and development of the University.
