Students of Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora, are confronting a harsh new reality after the school announced a broad increase in fees for core academic services.
In an internal memorandum dated August 19, 2026, and signed on behalf of the Registrar, the college confirmed that the newly approved charges will commence on September 1, 2026. The circular, identified as OYSCATECH/AA/015, was addressed to every student.
The document explains that the changes follow a thorough review of pricing for the various services previously offered to students. Administrators indicated that the adjustments are required, although the memo did not provide a detailed rationale for the higher amounts.
