Applications are open for eligible candidates who wish to join the PRE‑DEGREE PROGRAMMES at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba‑Akoko, Ondo State, for the 2026/2027 academic session.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The pre‑degree course spans a single academic session. Upon successful completion and after receiving appropriate counselling, each student will be eligible to select from the university’s degree offerings, subject to performance and the availability of slots. Prospective students must also sit for the 2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and achieve at least the minimum score set by the university in order to be considered for admission.

OPTIONS AND SUBJECT COMBINATIONS

English is mandatory for every enrollee in the Pre‑Degree Programme, together with one of the broad option groups and their respective subject clusters:

Arts

• Government, Literature in English, Religious Studies (GLR)
• Economics, Government, Literature in English (EGL)

Biological Sciences

• Biology, Chemistry, Physics (BCP)

Physical Sciences

• Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics (CMP)
• Geography, Mathematics, Physics (GMP)

Social Sciences

• Economics, Government, Mathematics (EGM)
• Mathematics, Geography, Economics (MGE)

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

• Visit: https://eduportal.aaua.edu.ng/aug/applications
• Register for an account
• Complete the payment process

Payment steps are outlined as follows:

(i) Navigate to the Payment Method section

(ii) Click on "Make Payment"

(iii) Choose the programme you intend to enroll in

(iv) Select "PAY ONLINE" to finalize the transaction

Once payment is confirmed, you will gain access to the online application form. Print the acknowledgment slip for your records. Afterward, you may proceed to settle the tuition fee. Remember to log out of the portal once you have finished.

Applicants are required to visit the Centre for Pre‑Degree Studies to submit a hard‑copy version of the completed form.
