Management informs all students that the Vice‑Chancellor has authorized Monday 24 August through Friday 28 August 2026 as UEE Students’ Union Week.
Consequently, every student is expected to take part fully and responsibly in the scheduled activities for the week.
The notice, signed by University Registrar Amb. Gabriel O. Egbe, Ph.D., emphasizes that Students’ Union Week offers a chance for students to build unity, enhance leadership and teamwork, encourage healthy social interaction, and display the university’s entrepreneurial spirit.
In light of this, all lectures, examinations and other academic engagements originally planned for the week will be moved forward so that students can engage completely in the sanctioned events.
The Registrar also instructed all Heads of Departments and lecturers to adjust their timetables accordingly.
While wishing everyone a smooth, peaceful and successful Students’ Union Week, Management calls on the community to exhibit high responsibility, discipline, maturity and respect for university rules throughout the celebrations.
Students are especially urged to behave in a way that protects the university’s good image and reputation; any violence, disorder or misconduct will be dealt with severely.
Management looks forward to a memorable, peaceful and rewarding Students’ Union Week.
