The administration of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, has been alerted to a counterfeit “School Bulletin” that has been spreading across social media and other online platforms, instructing students to remit N35,100 for a supposed KOFA upgrade.

The university categorically declares that the notice is fabricated and did not originate from any official university office.

In its official statement, the management clarified that it has neither sanctioned nor issued any directive requiring students to submit such a payment.

It also pointed out that the Zenith Bank account listed in the bogus bulletin, registered under the name Iriabholo Juliet, is a private account with no affiliation to the university.

Accordingly, the administration emphasizes that it will never ask students to transfer funds to personal or private bank accounts.

All students, university staff and the broader public are urged to ignore the fraudulent bulletin and to avoid making any payment related to the alleged KOFA upgrade.

The management further advises students to exercise vigilance and to confirm any payment instructions through the university’s official communication channels before acting.

The university assures that it will keep implementing appropriate measures to safeguard its community and the public from scams that misuse its name.
