The management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, has officially launched the admission drive for its National Diploma programme in Artificial Intelligence for the 2026/2027 academic year.

The course rollout follows the recent endorsement by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), which has sanctioned a new ND curriculum in Artificial Intelligence for polytechnics across Nigeria, reflecting the sector’s rising relevance and the programme’s emphasis on practical training.

The curriculum will address core subjects such as programming, AI laboratory work, digital systems, microcontroller technology, and will culminate in AI‑focused projects and a capstone module.

Eligibility is limited to candidates who achieved a minimum score of 100 in the 2026 UTME, listed Moshood Abiola Polytechnic as their first‑choice during the 2026 UTME registration, and have successfully uploaded their O’Level results onto the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

Applicants who did not originally pick MAPOLY as their primary institution but now wish to study Artificial Intelligence must request a Change of Institution and a Change of Course via the JAMB portal, setting Moshood Abiola Polytechnic and the AI programme as their first‑choice options before they can obtain the MAPOLY application form.

Prospective students are urged to examine the admission criteria thoroughly before initiating the online application through the official portal.

The Polytechnic’s management warns parents, guardians and hopeful candidates to stay vigilant against impostors claiming to act on behalf of MAPOLY; the institution does not employ any external agents or representatives for its admission process.

All qualified candidates will be considered for provisional admission strictly based on merit and the submission of the required documentation, in line with the Polytechnic’s established admission policies.
