The management of Benue State College of Nursing Sciences, Makurdi has announced the commencement of the sale of admission forms for the 2025/2026 academic session. The admission is open for candidates interested in the National Diploma (ND) Nursing Sciences and Post Basic Nursing Programmes.

The sale of application forms begins on Monday, 1st March 2026 and will close on 16th March 2026.

Application Fees are as follows: Post Basic Nursing Programme: N20,000 only National Diploma Nursing Sciences: N15,000 only

Admission Requirements for Post Basic Nursing Programme include: Candidates must possess a Registered Midwife (RM) Certificate. Applicants must have at least five (5) credit passes in: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Results must be obtained in not more than two sittings from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB. Note that NABTEB result cannot be combined with another examination body.

For National Diploma (ND) Nursing Sciences, candidates must have a UTME cut-off mark of 170 and above. Applicants must possess at least five (5) credit passes in: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Results must be obtained in not more than two sittings. Note that NABTEB cannot be combined with another examination body.

Prospective candidates are advised to complete their applications within the stipulated deadline and prepare for the screening exercise as scheduled.
