Available Programmes and Application Fees: Prospective students can apply for the following postgraduate tiers at the specified rates: Postgraduate Diploma (PGD): ₦25,000, Master’s Degree: ₦25,000, Master of Philosophy (MPhil) / PhD: ₦25,000, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD): ₦50,000.

Important Dates and Deadlines: Candidates are advised to take note of the following administrative timeline: Commencement of Form Sales: 15th April, 2026, Application Deadline: 8th September, 2026, Final Submission (All Modes): 11th September, 2026.

Submission of Transcripts: All applicants must submit their academic transcripts (hard or soft copy) to the Secretary, College of Postgraduate Studies by 11th September, 2026. Soft copies must be sent directly from institutional emails to: secdr_transcript.cpgs@unizik.edu.ng.

Special Requirements for PhD Applicants: Candidates applying for PhD programmes must adhere to the following additional criteria: Submit a typed research proposal of no more than five pages via the application portal, Prepare for a virtual Proposal Defense on a date to be communicated by the university.
