Confluence University of Science and Technology has achieved a significant milestone with the National Universities Commission granting full accreditation to six Engineering programmes offered by its Faculty of Engineering. The Vice Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Abdulrahman Asipita Salawu, made this announcement on 21st April, 2026, while presenting the official accreditation letter from the NUC dated 7th April, 2026. The letter was signed by the Director of Academic Accreditation, Engr. Abraham Chundusu, on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the NUC. The programmes that have received full accreditation include Mining Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Prof. Salawu described the accreditation as a testament to the University's commitment to academic excellence and national standards. He congratulated the University community, with special commendation to the staff and students of the Faculty of Engineering. Additionally, Prof. Salawu expressed his appreciation to the Executive Governor of the State, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his continued support to the University's progress.
