The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has published its provisional admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session. This announcement is aimed at all applicants who took part in the 2026/2027 Admission Screening Exercise, inviting them to verify whether they appear on the list of successful candidates.

The roster of admitted students has been uploaded to the JAMB CAPS portal. Candidates are required to follow the steps below to confirm their admission status.

• Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/ and sign in with the email address and password you used during registration to reach your dashboard.
• Click on “Check Admission Status”.
• Select “Access my CAPS”.
• Click on “Admission Status” to see whether an offer has been made.

If the system registers an admission offer, it will display your passport‑size photograph together with a congratulatory message. If no offer has been granted, the portal will return a notice stating “Sorry No Admission has been Given Yet”.

Applicants who receive an offer may either accept or decline it by sending the word ACCEPT or REJECT via SMS to 55019 or 66019 from the phone number linked to their JAMB profile. The acceptance period extends for four weeks. Those whose registered phone numbers are unavailable must travel to a JAMB‑accredited centre to submit their response in person.

It is crucial for successful candidates to print their admission letter after confirming acceptance, as this document will be required during the clearance and registration procedures at the university.
