UNIUYO Students’ Union: IBM Registration Not Needed For…

The University of Uyo Students’ Union, through its Directorate of Information and Public Relations, announced that enrolling in the IBM programme is not mandatory for the current General Studies (GST) examination.
A notice bearing the signature of Director of Information and Public Relations Sen. Wisdom Essien OTR (Adiamkpo) clarified that learners may sit for the GST exam without having signed up for IBM.
Nonetheless, the union urged students to consider enrolling in the IBM programme because it can equip them with marketable skills, certifications and future career opportunities.
The Students’ Union emphasized treating the IBM initiative as a chance for both personal growth and professional advancement.
