Notice to Prospective UTME Candidates (2026/2027)

All candidates who registered for the PUTME and are interested in applying for supplementary admission to any department at the university should be aware that the process will start at the date and time indicated.

Application Window

The portal will open on 17 October 2026 at 12:00 PM and will close on 23 October 2026 at 11:59 PM.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

• Achieve a minimum of 150 marks in non‑professional subjects in the 2026 UTME.
• Secure at least 200 marks in professional subjects (those marked with "*") in the 2026 UTME.
• Meet the university’s minimum entry requirements for the chosen programme.
• Have taken the UTME subjects that correspond to the intended course of study in the 2026 examination.

Programme Availability

The notice applies to candidates who intend to enroll in the programmes listed below upon admission. An intra‑university transfer will only be permitted after the student has completed two years of study.

Guidelines for Applicants Who Secure Supplementary Admission

Successful applicants should observe the following steps:

• Regularly monitor the “transfer approval” section on JAMB CAPS and accept the transfer to the new programme as soon as it appears.
• Initiate a Change of Course request for the newly selected programme on JAMB CAPS.
• Confirm that O‑Level results are correctly uploaded to JAMB CAPS to allow smooth processing of the admission.
