The Adeyemi Federal University of Education (AFUED) has officially opened the Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening process for the 2024/2025 academic session. Situated in Ondo and formerly known as Adeyemi College of Education, AFUED invites eligible candidates to apply for its undergraduate degree programmes. If you aspire to be part of this esteemed institution, now is the perfect time to apply.

Who is Eligible to Apply?

Degree Programmes:

  • Candidates who scored a minimum of 150 in the UTME and have selected AFUED as their first choice institution.

Direct Entry (DE) Programmes:

  • Candidates with a minimum of 7 points in relevant qualifications who have also chosen AFUED as their first choice.

Application Process

To apply, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the AFUED Portal: Visit the AFUED Portal to register.
  2. Payment: Pay a non-refundable fee of N2,000 through Remita, at any commercial bank, or using a debit or credit card online.
  3. Complete the Online Form: Once payment is confirmed, fill out the application form on the University's Portal.
  4. Upload Required Documents: Upload a clear passport photograph without eyeglasses or a veil, not exceeding 50kb in JPEG format. Also, upload your SSCE (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) and NCE results, if applicable.
  5. Accuracy Check: Ensure all information provided is accurate and double-check before submitting.
  6. Submit and Print: After submission, print the POST UTME screening slip.
  7. O’Level Results: If your O’Level results are not available yet, wait to apply. Once available, upload them to the JAMB Central Processing System (CAPS).

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be contacted. Ensure you provide a valid email address and phone number to receive updates, as the University will not be responsible for missed communications due to incorrect contact details.

Important Information for Applicants

  • First Choice Institution: Applicants must have chosen Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo, as their first choice. If not, they must change this on the JAMB portal before applying.
  • Direct Entry Documentation: Direct Entry candidates should submit their NCE results and transcripts to the Division of Admissions and Academic Board at the University.
