The Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, has overseen the staff promotion examination conducted for the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), underscoring JAMB's continued dedication to credibility and excellence in examination administration.
In a statement released by JAMB’s spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, Prof. Oloyede expressed appreciation to TETFund, the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), and other partnering agencies for their trust in JAMB’s capacity to deliver credible examination services.
“Prof. Oloyede commended TETFund for its proactive engagement with JAMB, affirming the Board’s unwavering commitment to providing high-quality, integrity-driven examinations,” the statement read.
Despite acknowledging the operational challenges faced by the Board this year, the Registrar accepted responsibility for the setbacks while emphasizing that accountability must be shared among all stakeholders, including JAMB staff. He assured that appropriate measures would be taken to address any cases of dereliction of duty.
Prof. Oloyede also noted with satisfaction that the TETFund examination was conducted seamlessly, with no incidents of leakage or malpractice reported. He reiterated JAMB’s focus on innovation and continuous improvement in its examination processes.
“Our goal is to maintain a system that upholds trust and transparency. We are proud of the integrity with which this examination was conducted,” he added.
