Gombe State University (GSU), Gombe, has released an important directive for candidates admitted into the 2025/2026 academic session. All newly admitted students are required to complete O-Level result verification within the approved timeframe.
According to a notice from the Office of the Registrar, only candidates who have formally accepted their admission and downloaded their official GSU admission letters are eligible to participate in the verification exercise. Candidates who have not completed this step will not be recognised, a situation that could lead to avoidable delays later on.
O-Level Verification Procedure
Eligible candidates are to visit the official GSU O-Level verification portal at:
verifyolevel.gsu.edu.ng
On the portal, candidates must upload their O-Level results. Upon successful submission, a verification receipt will be generated. Students are strongly advised to save and keep this receipt securely, as it may be required for future reference. Losing it could mean unnecessary stress.
Deadline
The deadline for completing the verification is Wednesday, 24 December 2025. The university has clearly stated that late submissions will not be accepted. Failure to meet the deadline may affect a candidate’s admission status.
The directive was signed by Musa Sarki, Deputy Registrar (Academic), on behalf of the Registrar. Newly admitted students are advised to strictly follow the instructions and complete the process promptly, as delays or skipped steps may result in complications that are difficult to resolve later.
