The Deanery of Student Affairs at Bayero University, Kano, has announced the start of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) registration for prospective corps members.

As stated in an official notice released on Thursday, March 12, 2026, the NYSC registration portal is now open, and eligible graduating students are advised to register immediately through the official NYSC portal.

The notice, signed by the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Mukhtar Ridwanu Bunza, addressed concerns about discrepancies in graduation dates on the university's internal pre-mobilization list and the NYSC portal. Students affected by this issue are advised not to panic and to continue with their registration.

The university management has contacted NYSC authorities about the matter and has been assured that the discrepancies will be corrected after the registration exercise. The Dean emphasized that no eligible student will be mobilized for the NYSC programme without completing the required registration process.

The university urged all prospective corps members to complete their registration promptly, reassuring students that the graduation date discrepancies will be properly resolved.
