The Federal University of Education, Zaria, under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Yahaya Isa Bunkure, has announced an extension for the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) application deadline.

In a move to ensure no student is left behind, the application window for the 2025/2026 Academic Session has been extended to May 30, 2026. This provides a crucial opportunity for students to secure financial support for their studies.

Application Guidelines: All newly admitted and returning students who are yet to apply should take immediate advantage of this extension. Applications must be submitted through the official portal: www.nelf.gov.ng. Applicants are reminded of the following restrictions regarding eligibility: Graduated Students and Part-time Students are not eligible to apply.
