McPherson University has achieved a significant milestone with the National Universities Commission (NUC) granting full accreditation for 10 undergraduate programmes. The formal notification was delivered via a letter signed by Engr. Abraham Chundusu, the NUC Director of Accreditation, acting on behalf of the Commission’s Executive Secretary.
This accomplishment follows a rigorous evaluation process conducted by specialized teams during their visits to the campus in October and November 2025. The undergraduate courses that have received full accreditation status, valid for a period of five years, include Law, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Public Health, History and Diplomatic Studies, Information Technology, Biotechnology, and Economics.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Francis Igbasan, shared the news with the university community, expressing high praise for the staff's unwavering commitment. He characterized the achievement as a clear testament to the institution’s ongoing pursuit of academic excellence and its mission to provide top-tier education.
