The Management of Heritage Polytechnic has made a significant shift in its school fees payment policy to prioritize student academic success and mental well-being. This decision was made after realizing that financial pressures can be a major distraction for students during critical examination periods, ultimately affecting their academic performance.
The institution aims to create an environment that fosters concentration and improved outcomes. To achieve this, the previous restrictions regarding fee clearance have been eased. All students are now granted unrestricted access to attend lectures and participate in academic activities. They are also permitted to sit for scheduled examinations regardless of their current payment status and can complete their courses of study and proceed to graduation.
The core of this policy shift is the deferment of outstanding fees. Students can now settle their financial obligations at the point of certificate collection, rather than being barred from academic milestones. However, students must use their official registration numbers during examinations to ensure their results are properly recorded and tracked within the system.
According to Aaron Ayara, Public Relations Officer, this policy is designed to support students in achieving academic success without undue financial pressure. For further clarifications or specific inquiries, students are advised to visit the Bursary Department.
