Following the completion of the first semester examinations for the 2025/2026 academic session, the University Management has announced the immediate closure of the hostels. This move is to enable routine maintenance works and fumigation of the hostel surroundings.
The primary goal of this exercise is to ward off reptiles and other harmful insects prevalent during this season, ensuring a safe and conducive living environment for students.
All students residing in the University hostels are required to vacate the premises immediately. They are expected to resume at the commencement of the second semester, as outlined in the calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session, which is set to begin on Tuesday, 16th June, 2026.
The University Management regrets any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the understanding and cooperation of all students.
