The Rivers State University, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, has announced the details of its Post-UTME/DE screening exercise for the 2026 academic session. Candidates who chose the university as their first-choice institution and have been notified by JAMB are eligible to participate.
The screening exercise is only open to candidates who scored 190 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Additionally, candidates must possess the required five O'level credit passes as specified in the University's Entry Requirements, which can be found in the JAMB Brochure. Candidates who are awaiting their O'level results may apply, but they must indicate this during the application process.
To register for the screening exercise, candidates should log onto https://apply.rsu.edu.ng and make payment using a debit card. The online registration portal will be open from Monday, 18th May 2026, to Sunday, 7th June 2026. Candidates are advised to use the online chat support for further information and to visit the Information Communication and Technology Centre (ICTC) at the university for reliable registration and biometric verification.
It is essential that candidates capture their correct details, as used during JAMB registration, during the application process. The screening exercise will be conducted electronically, and candidates are advised to practice using a computer, especially the mouse and keyboard. The test slip will indicate the scheduled date, time, and venue for the screening exercise.
Candidates who fail to take the screening test on the scheduled date and time will not be considered for admission. Parents, guardians, and well-wishers are advised to stay away from the venue of the screening exercise. Further details about the screening exercise can be obtained online at www.rsu.edu.ng. The names of successful candidates will also be published on the same website.
The university wishes all candidates a successful screening exercise. For updates and information on Post-UTME and admission activities, candidates can join the RSUST WhatsApp group.
