The Federal University Wukari has released the schedule for the 2025/2026 academic session Orientation and Matriculation exercises. All newly admitted undergraduate and postgraduate students are expected to take note of these important dates and participate fully.
The Students Orientation Exercise is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 18th June, 2026 – Friday, 19th June, 2026, while the Students Matriculation Exercise will hold on Saturday, 20th June, 2026. The venue for these events is the Prof. Geoffrey Okogbaa Lecture Theatre, and the time is 9:00 am daily.
According to the Dean of Students, Professor Ijasini John Tekwa, these dates have been fixed under the direction of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Benjamin A. Kefas. Attendance is highly mandatory for all new students as the orientation program is designed to familiarize freshmen with the university's environment, academic rules, and student life, culminating in the formal matriculation oath-taking ceremony. Deans, Heads of Departments, and the Student Union Government have also been requested to note the development.
Fresh students are advised to prepare accordingly and ensure they are seated at the venue before the scheduled time each day.
