University of Benin students have been officially notified that all football activities in open spaces across campus have been suspended permanently.

This suspension affects popular areas such as the Education Field, Back Gate Field, and other unauthorized open spaces.

The decision to suspend these activities was made to ensure proper management of campus facilities and to pave the way for better sporting infrastructure.

Alternative Venues Available:

• University of Benin Sports Complex
• TETFUND Field, Capitol Area

These venues are open for training, competitions, and recreational football, providing students with approved facilities to engage in their favorite sport.

Plans are already in place by the School Authority to provide a new standard pitch at Site B for students' use, demonstrating the university's commitment to improving sports facilities.

Students are advised to remain calm and cooperate with this directive, trusting the judgement of the University Management as they work to make modern sports facilities available.
