The Federal Polytechnic, Ede, has announced a two-week extension to its approved Academic Calendar. According to an internal memorandum issued on June 9, 2026, by the Registrar, Alh. S. A. Rafiu, this adjustment accommodates a previous concession granted to Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) students.

The management emphasizes that this extension ensures proper alignment of all academic activities and caters to the affected students without disrupting the overall academic calendar.

All students are expected to note the newly approved dates: the new resumption date is Sunday, June 21, 2026, and lectures commence on Monday, June 22, 2026. The Academic Board requests the cooperation of the entire polytechnic community during this adjustment. Students, especially those returning from or involved in SIWES, are advised to utilize this window effectively and comply with the new timeline.
