The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) has announced that its admission portal will be open for online registration from Monday, June 15 to Sunday, July 12, 2026, for all candidates who selected the institution as their first-choice in the 2026/2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

To be eligible, UTME candidates must have scored a minimum of 170 marks in the 2026/2027 UTME and must upload their O' Level results to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) before August 2, 2026. They must also be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026.

The eligibility criteria for UTME candidates include possessing at least five credit passes in relevant O' Level subjects at not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. Direct Entry (DE) candidates must hold a University Degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower, Upper Credit in ND, RNS, NCE minimum of Merit, and Lower Credit in HND, or JUPEB, with five credit passes in relevant O' Level subjects.

To apply, candidates should visit the University admission portal at eportal.lautech.edu.ng, make a non-refundable registration fee of N2,000.00 and a portal access fee of N5,000.00 using an Inter Switch-enabled debit card, and carefully complete and submit the online application form. They should also upload a clear digital passport photograph with a white background in JPEG format not exceeding 20KB.

Additional notes for candidates include the fact that those awaiting results may apply but must upload their results to JAMB CAPS by June 26, 2026. Any inconsistency in names, state of origin, or age on documents may result in disqualification. Admission is based on 80% UTME score and 20% O'level grades.

Direct Entry candidates must have obtained a Direct Entry form from JAMB and must forward their academic transcripts not later than one week before the screening date. The Oral and Written Interviews for Direct Entry candidates will be conducted on a date to be announced later.

Candidates are warned that providing false information will lead to their admission being withdrawn and may result in prosecution. They are also advised to beware of fraudsters as LAUTECH will not be liable for transactions with unauthorized persons.
