The University of Benin notifies every applicant who received a provisional offer for the 2026/2027 academic session that the online portal for paying the required Acceptance Fee will become operational on Monday, 24 August 2026.

All admitted candidates are urged to confirm their offers through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) without delay, if they have not yet done so. Securing the offer on JAMB CAPS is mandatory before proceeding with later admission and registration steps.

Candidates should thereafter log on to the University’s admission portal using the link below to verify their admission status and to pay the prescribed Acceptance Fee.

Deadline for Payment of Acceptance Fee:

The final date to remit the Acceptance Fee is Monday, 21 September 2026, exactly four weeks after the portal’s launch.

All applicants are strongly encouraged to finalize their payment on or before this deadline. Missing the payment window could result in the cancellation of the admission offer.

Applicants should use only the university’s authorized payment platform and keep their payment receipts and related documents for later clearance and registration.

Students are advised to monitor the university’s official communication channels regularly for authentic updates on admission, clearance, and registration.
