Zamfara State University, Talata Mafara (ZAMSUT) has announced an additional one‑week extension for the credential verification exercise targeting students who have not yet completed the process.

According to a notice released by the Students Credential Verification Committee, the verification period now runs from Monday, 31 August, to Friday, 4 September 2026.

The university cautioned that any unverified student will be denied an examination card for the upcoming examinations and urged all affected students to make use of the extended timeframe to finalize their verification.

Students attending the verification must present the following original documents:

• Original UTME result slip
• Original JAMB admission letter for ZAMSUT
• Original WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/NBAIS certificate, if available, or a duly signed and stamped examination broadsheet
• PIN or TOKEN required for online verification
• Original Diploma or NCE certificate, or academic transcript for Direct Entry candidates
• Confirmation letter
• Local Government indigene certificate together with a birth certificate or declaration of age

The committee also advised those who have already completed the verification to ensure they collect their verification certificates without delay.
