Gombe State University (GSU) has opened a further admission window for students aiming to join the university for the 2026/2027 academic session, following the publication of its first‑batch admission results.
In a special bulletin released on Monday, 26 October 2026, the university stated that applicants who missed out in the initial round may now switch their chosen course to any undergraduate programme offered by the Faculty of Agriculture, provided they satisfy the university’s entry criteria.
The institution instructed eligible candidates to make the programme change via the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal, ensuring they meet all stipulated admission requirements.
Applicants who originally applied for other courses at Gombe State University but were not offered a place are urged to revise their programme selection to any of the courses listed above through the JAMB portal.
The university has set Thursday, 29 October 2026 as the final date for submitting the programme change request.
All prospective students must fulfil the university’s prescribed admission standards to be considered for entry into the Faculty of Agriculture.
For additional information or clarification, candidates should reach out to the university’s Admissions Office.
