The Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi (FUTIA) in Akwa Ibom State will host its inaugural Registry Distinguished Lecture on Wednesday, 4 November 2026.
The notice indicates that the Registry is arranging the event, which is slated to begin at 1:00 p.m. in the University Lecture Theatre on the FUTIA campus.
The presentation carries the theme “Academic Regulations as the Bedrock of University Excellence: The Strategic Role of University Administrators.”
Professor Leo Daniel, the university’s Vice‑Chancellor and a Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics, will serve as the master of ceremonies for the occasion.

The formal invitation was signed by Mrs. Offiongita Essessien Nkang, Registrar of the Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi, acting on behalf of the Governing Council, Management and Senate.
