The Students’ Union Government (SUG) at Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) announced that digital clearance for final‑year students is now underway.
The notice, dated Monday, 20 October 2026, bears the signature of SUG President Sen. Elijah Koffi.
It directs all final‑year students to start their clearance electronically via the university’s portal.
Clearance Portal: https://aksu.edu.ng/clearance
The SUG thanked university management, the Vice‑Chancellor, the ICT Centre’s director and team, the Dean and staff of the Students’ Affairs Division, and the Head of Administration of the same division for facilitating a smooth and convenient digital clearance.
Final‑year students should make sure every file uploaded to the portal is a clear scan or photo to prevent blurry images. Each document must be submitted following the stated guidelines.
Moreover, all required paperwork—such as course registration forms, tuition fee receipts, and any payment conversion or change‑of‑payment documents—must be turned in to the appropriate offices or locations prior to advancing in the clearance process, where this applies.
The SUG reiterated its dedication to safeguarding and advancing the welfare of every AKSU student.
Signed: Sen. Elijah Koffi
