The Federal University of Technology, Owerri has commenced admission into its JUPEB Foundation School Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The JUPEB Foundation School programme is a one-year programme designed to prepare candidates for Direct Entry admission into the Federal University of Technology, Owerri and other Nigerian and foreign universities.
To be eligible, interested candidates must possess at least five O’Level credit passes in SSCE, NECO or NABTEB, obtained in not more than two sittings. The required subjects include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology, depending on the candidate’s intended course of study.
Candidates seeking admission into Medicine and Surgery must have at least five O’Level credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in one sitting.
Candidates awaiting their O’Level results may also apply.
Applicants are required to visit the official portal https://portal.futo.edu.ng/#jupeb to complete the application process.
Candidates are advised to carefully follow the application instructions and ensure that all necessary details are correctly provided.
The application fee is ₦25,000, payable via Remita.
Lectures are scheduled to begin on September 21, 2026.
