Lagos State University has initiated the online admissions clearance exercise for newly admitted students in the 2026/2027 academic session. This process is facilitated through the LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA).
The LACACA process is designed to streamline the clearance procedure for successful candidates, who will be assigned matriculation numbers upon completion. Conversely, candidates who fail to complete the process will forfeit their provisional admission offer.
The LACACA operation is a product of LASU Consult Limited. As a result, all admitted candidates in the 2026/2027 academic session are required to pay the mandatory Clearance Fee via the LASU e-payment portal.
To commence the online clearance, candidates must have paid the acceptance, medical, and clearance fees.
PROCEDURE FOR PAYMENT OF (LACACA) CLEARANCE FEES
Upon accessing the dashboard, candidates are expected to complete the following steps:
(a) Validate your basic bio-data details (b) Verify disability status (c) Upload O’Level scratch card details (d) Upload original birth certificate (e) Upload original UTME Results (f) Upload original JAMB Admission Letter (g) Upload scanned Signature (h) Submit the application by checking the “I Agree” text box and then click on Submit
At this stage, the Admission Clearance progresses to 20% while the documents have been submitted for further scrutiny by dedicated University officials.
Candidates are required to monitor the progress of their Admission Clearance, as they may need to address any issues arising from the uploaded documents.
In cases where error(s) are detected, candidates will be required to pay for LACACA correction of such error(s) on the LASU payment portal https://www.lasu.edu.ng/globalpay
Upon attaining 100% clearance progress, successful candidates will be able to print their LASU Admission Clearance Certificate for the 2026/2027 Academic Session and receive a Matriculation Number.
NOTE: The online clearance will last for three weeks, commencing from Wednesday, 12th August 2026, and ending on Wednesday, 2nd September 2026.
Candidates whose applications are rejected are advised to check their portal for the reason behind the rejection. In some cases, they may need to visit the Admission Office on 3rd Floor, Senate Building, Main Campus, Ojo, for further guidance.
For further clarification or assistance, candidates can send an email to mailsupport@lasu.edu.ng
