The institution has officially opened applications for admission into its Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programmes for suitably qualified candidates across its various schools and departments.
Programmes are available in the School of General Education, which offers Curriculum Studies/Educational Technology, Educational Foundation and Administration, and Psychology/Guidance and Counselling. The School of Science Education provides courses in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Physical and Health Education, and Computer Science.
Under the School of Vocational and Technical Education, applicants can choose from Agricultural Science Education, Home Economics, Fine and Applied Arts, Business Education, and Technical Education. The School of Languages offers English and Igbo, while the School of Early Childhood Care and Primary Education runs programmes in Early Childhood Care and Education and Primary Education.
The School of Arts and Social Sciences also offers a wide range of courses, including Social Studies, Political Science, Economics, Christian Religious Studies, and Music. All listed programmes are available in sandwich and part-time modes.
To be eligible, applicants must possess a minimum of five credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics. Participation in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is mandatory.
