The Rector of Kaduna Polytechnic, Dr. Suleiman Umar, has announced the schedule for the institution's Combined Convocation and 70th Anniversary Ceremony on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff, and Students.

The week-long celebration is set to honor graduates from the 2016/2017 through 2024/2025 academic sessions. The event will culminate in the award of Diplomas, Fellowships, and Prizes on Saturday, May 16th, 2026.

The schedule of events is as follows: Monday, May 11th, 2026: Press Conference at 11:00 AM at the Council Chambers, Central Admin Block, Main Campus. Friday, May 8th, 2026: Special Juma’ah Prayers at 1:00 PM at the KPT Central Mosque, Main Campus. Sunday, May 10th, 2026: Interdenominational Service at 10:00 AM at the KPT Chapel, Main Campus. Friday, May 15th, 2026: Pre-Convocation Lecture at 2:30 PM at the Civil Engineering Lecture Theatre, Main Campus, delivered by Hadiza Bala Usman, Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Policy Coordination, followed by a Convocation Dinner at 5:00 PM at the Multipurpose Hall, Department of Hospitality CST (by invitation).

The Grand Finale: Combined Convocation & 70th Anniversary Ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 16th, 2026, at 9:00 AM at the Convocation Square, Main Campus, Tudun Wada. Guests are required to be seated by 9:00 AM prompt.

Notice to Graduands: Academic Gowns can be collected starting Monday, May 11th, 2026, at the Department of Polymer and Textile Technology, College of Science and Technology, Main Campus, upon payment of ₦20,000 (₦10,000 for rental and ₦10,000 as a refundable deposit) at Kadpoly Micro Finance Bank, Central Administration, Main Campus.
