Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital Postgraduate Programme of Master in Nursing Science with Specialties for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

General Admission Requirements include a minimum of five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology obtained at not more than two sittings from WAEC, NECO, and one sitting only from NABTEB.

Areas of Specialization include Accident and Emergency Nursing, Nephrology Nursing, Ophthalmic Nursing, and Paediatric Nursing. Applicants seeking admission into the master's degree programme must meet the following criteria: a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) in the Bachelor of Nursing Science Degree.

All applicants must request their former Universities to forward academic transcript of their first degree (Official Copy) directly to the office of the College Secretary, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital Schools’ Complex Amilegbe, Ilorin. Three referees, NYSC Exemption, Exclusion or Discharge Certificate, and Council Certificate of any of the 4 areas of specialization (if available) are also required.

The Duration of Programme is a minimum of three semesters and a maximum of six semesters. To apply, applicants are to proceed to the website to fill the application form and make payment of N20,000 through the Remita platform only into the UITH GENERAL PURPOSE ACCOUNT.

After making the payment, applicants can now proceed to complete the application process. All payment receipts must be submitted to the Bursary Unit for verification of payment.
