FUTA has promoted six of its faculty members to the senior positions of Professor and Reader, acknowledging their work in teaching, research, and knowledge creation.

The two academics appointed as Professors are Prof. John Isa from the School of Infrastructure, Mineral and Manufacturing Engineering (SIMME) and Prof. A. A. Fayetole from the School of Logistics and Innovation Technology (SLIT).

Four additional staff members have been raised to the rank of Reader:

• Dr. S. A. Malomo — School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology (SAAT)
• Dr. A. N. Abasilim — School of Logistics and Innovation Technology (SLIT)
• Dr. H. E. Adesiji — School of Physical Sciences (SPS)
• Dr. M. K. Duromola — School of Physical Sciences (SPS)

These appointments become effective on 1 October 2025, as confirmed by the Registrar’s administrative approval.

The university extends its congratulations to the newly appointed Professors and Readers.
