The Federal University of Lafia's Department of Economics has set a deadline for the submission of research projects by 400-level students.

The deadline for submission is Wednesday, August 26, 2026, as announced in an internal memo dated August 14, 2026.

• Students must submit four hard copies of their bound research projects.
• Two copies are for the Department, and the remaining two are for the student and supervisor.

The Department has specified that all copies must be properly bound according to the approved format and must bear the signatures of the student's supervisor and the Head of Department where applicable.

The memo emphasizes that no extensions will be granted under any circumstances, and students who fail to meet the deadline risk not being cleared for graduation.

Students have been advised to work with their supervisors to complete all necessary corrections and have their final copies ready for binding and submission before the deadline.

The Department has also advised students who anticipate difficulty in meeting the deadline to notify the Department in writing before August 26, although this does not guarantee an extension.
