Akwa Ibom State University has officially announced the commencement of its Amnesty Programme for the 2025/2026 Academic Session. The programme is designed to assist eligible students in resolving outstanding academic deficiencies and completing their academic programmes successfully.

Accordingly, registration for the programme is to commence on Monday, 11th May, 2026 and will close on Monday, 25th May, 2026. Lectures for the programme are scheduled to begin on 25th May, 2026.

The Amnesty Programme provides students with an opportunity to regularize pending academic issues through approved academic procedures. Interested candidates are expected to comply with all registration requirements within the stipulated period.

Registration Details A non-refundable registration fee of ₦10,000 is required. Course registration payments will depend on the number of courses registered by each candidate. Participating students are permitted to register a maximum of 24 credit units.
